Brief list of experimental systems and technologies from laboratory models to pre-production models used for liquids electrochemical activation and developed and produced by scientists and specialists of Vitold Bakhir Institute.
- ECATRON is a family of devices, which are used in farming industry. Main purposes of devices of this type is milk deacidification, production of preserving agent for green fodder (silage), production of solution for straw saccharification and hydrolysis of plant raw material (for food industry), synthesis of initial solutions for preparation of cutting emulsion for metal processing. Productivity of devices varies from 250 to 1000 l/h, specific energy consumption is from 0,5 to 5 kWt•h/m³.
- ELECTROAQUASOFT are devices for softening of natural water before its use in heat exchangers. Productivity of one module of the device is 1000 l/h, specific energy consumption 0,3 kWt•h/m³.
- ROSTOK are devices for synthesis of nitrogen fertilizers from nitrogen of air and salts in water, which is used for plants watering. It is used in greenhouses. Productivity of from 100 to 1000 l/h, specific energy consumption is 0,25 kWt•h/m³.
- ELF are devices used for hydrolysis of apple marc for pectin production. Productivity is from 100 to 500 l/h, specific energy consumption is 6 kWt•h/m³.
- DIEL are devices for desalination of mineralized water. It is used for fresh water production from sea-water as well as in processes of deep desalination (deionization) of water (in particular, for needs of electronic industry). Productivity is 100 l/h, specific energy consumption is 5 kWt•h/m³. A device of productivity of 1000 l/h has being developed.
- BAZEX are devices for pH and oxidation-reduction potential regulation of water used for preparation of hemodialysis solutions. The main field of use is nephrology. Productivity is from 100 to 1000 l/h.
- REDOX, RENOFILTER are devices for cleaning and sterilization of dialyzers of artificial kidney for reuse. The main fiel of application is nephrology. Productivity is 15 dialyzers of artificial kidney per 8 hours.
- INFUSTAT are devices for noncontact regulation of pH and oxidation-reduction potential of medicinal solutions under its drip-feed into organism. The main field of use is oncology. Productivity is from 0,3 to 1,5 l/h.
- HEMOSTAT is a medical device for electrochemical synthesis from drinking water electrochemically activated solutions used as a substance for regulation of acid-base equilibrium and oxidation-reductive potential of inner environment of organism under effect through derma.
- PYROSTERIL are devices for production of deionized, sterile, apyrogenic water. Productivity is 20 l/h, specific energy consumption is 7 kWt•h/m³. The main field of use is pharmaceutical industry.
- ENDOSTERIL is a device for cleaning, pre-sterilizing and sterilization of flexible endoscopes. Mainly it is used in hospitals and clinics. Time of treatment of one endoscope is 15 minutes.
- AQUAPOOL is a family of devices for disinfection and regulation of water parameters in swimming pools. Water is treated in flow circuit, range of water volumes in swimming pools is from 50 to 500 m³. Specific energy consumption is from 250 to 2500 Wt.
- AQUARIUS is a family of devices for water disinfection and regulation of its parameters in cooling towers. Water is treated in flow circuit, range of water volumes in cooling towers is from 0,4 to 40 m³. Specific energy consumption is from 150 to 1500 Wt.
- HYPOCHLOR is a family of devices for sodium hypochlorite solution production (15-18 %%) from sodium chloride solution. Specific energy consumption for sodium hypochlorite production does not exceed 3,5 kWt•h/kg.
- AQUATRON is a family of devices for production of electrochemically activated solutions of all types (anolytes A, AN, ANK, catholyte K and KN) from water with mineralization from 0,1 to 1,5 g/l without salt addition. Devices are used for food industry, cattle breeding, poultry farming, veterinary. Productivity is from 200 to 1000 l/h. Power consumption is from 400 to 2500 Wt.
