OXITRON

Supplied EXCLUSIVELY as a part of R&D activities. The necessary device to carry out R&D is selected exclusively by the Institute.

OXITRON devices are designed for preparative electrochemical oxidation or reduction of organic and non-organic compounds in different technology processes.

OXITRON is a unique device developed by Vitold Bakhir and supplied by Vitold Bakhir Electrochemical Systems and Technologies Institute as an experimental and pilot sample of various capacity as a part of R&D activities.

 

OXITRON models

1. Oxitron-S-07-01 is designed for electrochemical oxidation of organic   pharmaceutical products.

The device consists of electrochemical unit, power supply and control unit assembled on a single frame, a volume pump for organic compound solution feeding fixed to the front panel of the electrochemical unit, a pump for solution feeding to defoamer, tanks for preparation of initial solution and collection of oxidation products. The basic part of the device is electrochemical reactor consisting of flow-through diaphragm electrochemical modular elements MB-26.

2. Oxitron – R-07-01 is designed for electrochemical treatment of aqueous solutions of electrolytes with the purpose to control their chemical composition and reactive capacity, in particular, for application in technology of ammonia removal from nuclear stations wastewater.

3. Oxitron–М-07-01 is a device designed for anodic electrochemical treatment of aqueous solutions of hydrochloric acid to control their chemical composition and reactive capacity. The device is used in various technology processes, in particular, for separation of precious metals from spent automobile catalysts.
