RENOFILTER

RENOFILTER device is used for pre-sterilizing treatment and sterilization of capillar hemodialyzers by detergent-sterilizing solution, produced by RENOFILTER during electrochemical synthesis from sodium chloride water solution.

The device provide with total elimination of albuminous substances from inner surfaces and from membrane pores of hemodialyzer as well as sterilization of its work surfaces by electrochemically activated solution – Anolyte ANK.

Electrochemical reactor of the device produces Anolyte ANK with the following parameters:

Hydrogen ion exponent, pH	7,0 ± 0,3
Redox potential, mV	от +700 до +900
Oxidants concentration of Anolyte ANK, mg/l	250 – 300
Total mineralization of Anolyte ANK, g/l	0,5, no more

More than a half of nephrological patients at last stages need medical treatment of artificial kidney.

A single use of hemodialyzers as well as plazma- and hemofilters is irrational. Possibility of reuse of dialyzers sets allows to decrease its shortage, reduce cost of medical treatment and make hemodialysis more available. Even partial reuse of such componentry can save money more than 100 mln. $ per year according to estimate of American nephrologists.

There is another one reason to reuse dialyzers. Outside substances, endotoxins etc. can cause allergic reactions of hypersensitivity.At new dialyzers use back, chest pains, neutropenia, complement activation etc. can take place. Dialyzers reuse considerably decreases these symptoms and improves a quality of medical treatment.

RENOFILTER device allows totally restore quality parameters of used hemodialyzer up to initial parameters and provides with 5-10 times economy for reuse due to costs absence for detergent and sterilizing solutions.

RENOFILTER device contains STEL-ANK-PRO-M device for synthesis of electrochemically activated Anolyte ANK from low-mineralized salt solution with detergent and antimicrobial properties, and special hydraulic system for Anolyte ANK (containing gas bubbles of hydrogen, oxigen and ozone) supply into intracapillar and outercapillar space of dialyzer with optimal flow and pressure during set time, that guarantees fast treatment and sterilization of dialyzer.

Appearance of flotation effect (seizing of contamination particles by interface of gas-liquid mixture) allows to provide effective treatment of membrane surfaces of dialyzer.

Gas bubbles moving in intracapillar and outercapillar spaces of dialyzer with fast flow (flow rate of Anolyte ANK in capillar space reaches 100 l/h) mechanically affect to membranes and intensify sterilizing effect of gas-liquid mixture.

RENOFILTER device does not require special detergent and sterilizing chemical reagents.

Operation parameters of RENOFILTER device are given depending on membrane material (cuprofan, polysulfone, polypropylene, polymethyl methacrylate, polyvinyl alcohol etc.).

RENOFILTER-M device for simultaneous treatment of 4 dialyzers of artificial kidney is a modern model of RENOFILTER device.
