About "inventors" and "historians"
There are many individuals who called or call themselves the authors of electrochemical activation having no idea what it is. The daily “Pravda” in its issued from July 8, 1985 published the article titled “Water magic” written by three special correspondents – N.Gladkov, N.Morozov and V.Reut dedicated to electrochemical activation. It specifically focuses on the reasons why there were so many false “inventors” of the technology. Below follows a quotation from the article: “... on the credit side of the new school there are not only the results of numerous investigations, experiments and tests. It became surrounded by hundreds of inventor's certificates and foreign patents. Some enterprises are eager to get devices that would make possible to apply the new technology. But there are still no plants manufacturing them … And in the meantime, a certain vacuum between research and experimental work, and practical application of its results appears. This vacuum is filled in different ways . There are home-made devices on the market often manufactured without specialist's advice that fail to guarantee the desired product quality. As a result, the consumers lose faith in the technology. Some moneymakers have heard nothing of the new school except rumors about “live” and “dead” water, but with their tight commercial grip they begin to flood the market with fake “activators” producing supposedly remedial water, which can actually be harmful for the health of credulous folk ....» Sometimes people without thorough knowledge of the subject stand as the “historians” of electrochemical activation or try to analyze engineering and technological aspects of the school in their publications leading their readers astray. Examples of this kind include the following books: P. Shibilskis “Water as a source of health” (Panevezhis, 1997), Kurtov V.D., Furmanov Yu.A., Makhrovskaya N. Ę ., Davidenko I.P. “Electroactivated water – a source of life and health” ( Kiev , 2003), L.Grossman “Live water” ( Minsk , 1998). Also, it so happens that the history of electrochemical activation development is narrated with the help of texts borrowed from concrete publications, but with no references to their authors. Sometimes no names are mentioned at all (L.Lvova, “Variations on a theme of electrochemical activation”. Journal “ Provisor ”, No. 11, 2001). As a matter of fact, there are many documents , publications in scientific-technical and popular science journals and author's certificates reflecting the historical aspects of development of the new science and engineering school created by V.M. Bakhir, which is still being perfected by the energies of researchers and experts working under his guidance. |
